Lake Arrowhead 12/6/2021

The next morning, we enjoyed plenty of coffee again, and went to see if we could find a trail near the lake. It wasn’t easy, as most public areas don’t seem to have direct lake access. We found our way to a UCLA chateau, trespassed on their tennis courts and basketball courts, hung out for a bit, then found a private area with a path along the lake.

Later in the afternoon, we returned to the village to feed ducks again.

When the sun went down, we went for a short night hike and told scary stories to Vale. We finally made use of Everest’s thick, fuzzy, pink hoodie with bear ears, which we had purchased solely for this trip.

Later in the evening, we had another relaxing night at home, enjoying the holiday vibes, eating cheese, drinking wine, and listening to Christmas music.
